Sharon McClung has felt an attraction for gems and stones for many years and continually educates herself on their quality and vitality.

While on a Santa Fe sabbatical in early 2003, Sharon developed a fascination for combining them with pearls, crystals and precious metals to create artistic jewelry. She returned to her home in Texas with zeal, and immersed herself in the world of beads, crystals, stones, and gems. Sharon has developed her own style of singularly unique creations of wearable art.

With encouragement from those who see and wear her jewelry, she had her first exhibit in December 2003 at Cliff House Gallery, a resounding success. Sharon continues to show her collections at various soirees, exhibits and shows.
